Archived Policy
Purpose of Archiving
The archiving policy of the journal is designed to ensure the long-term preservation, accessibility, and integrity of all published materials. We are dedicated to safeguarding the scholarly record so that researchers, academics, and professionals can reliably access published work now and in the future.
Digital Preservation
To maintain permanent access to all published articles, the journal implements multiple digital preservation methods, including:
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe):
The journal participates in the LOCKSS system, which stores content across multiple distributed servers to prevent data loss.
CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS):
For added security and long-term preservation, the journal also benefits from the CLOCKSS archive, ensuring content remains accessible even in cases of technical failure.
Institutional Repositories:
Authors are encouraged to deposit the final version of their published articles in their institutional or subject-based repositories to increase visibility and long-term availability.
Self-Archiving Policy (Green Open Access)
The journal permits authors to archive the following versions of their manuscripts:
Pre-print:
Authors may deposit the submitted version (prior to peer review) on preprint platforms.
Post-print:
Authors may archive the peer-reviewed, accepted version (before final formatting and typesetting).
Published Version (Version of Record):
Authors may share the final published article on personal websites, academic networks, or institutional repositories, provided that appropriate citation to the original journal publication is included.
Permanent Access and Availability
All published content is preserved indefinitely on the journal’s official website. Should the journal discontinue publication, the complete archive will be migrated to an appropriate digital preservation service or long-term repository to maintain ongoing access.
Metadata Preservation
The journal ensures that article metadata is indexed and stored in widely recognized academic databases and digital archives such as CrossRef, Google Scholar, and other indexing services to enhance discoverability and citation.
Article Retraction and Removal
In rare cases where an article must be retracted or removed due to ethical, legal, or accuracy concerns, a clear retraction notice or explanatory statement will be posted. The article’s metadata will remain accessible to preserve the continuity of the scholarly record.
